One storey listed building. Keménczi House. Keménczi-Várnai House Built in the 1870s (otheer source 1869), Romantic style. Architect (probably): Károly Hoffer. Mr. and Mrs Várnai owned in 1890. Here was the Várnai's Book Retail and Printing Co. in around 1911. Extended with workshop and storage in 1869. - There is a glass covered courtyard 'atrium' Red stone (marble) stair with wrought iron railing in its staircase. With floral motifs painted ceiling in the vaulted gateway. Fountain sculpture in courtyard-atrium. Since 1920 Szeged Municipality Printing since 1944 Szeged Printing operated here. - 9 Kárász Street, Belváros (Inner City) neighborough, Szeged, Csongrád-Csanád County, Hungary.

Egyemeletes, konzolerkélyes épület. Átrium boltokkal. A kapualj átjáró dongaboltozatos virág mintás mennyezetfestés. Az átriumban szőkőkút szoborral. Lépcsőház: vörös márvány? lépcső kovácsoltvas korláttal, a ny-i részen csigalépcső vezet az udvari fűggőfolyosóra. Műemlék/Az 1870-es években épült/Romantikus stílusban. - Keménczi-ház Romantikus, 1869. Építész: Hoffer Károly? - Keménczi Adalbert vaskereskedő részére. 1870-ben itt volt a Oetl-féle gyártársaság tűz és betörésmentes pénz-, könyv- és okmányszekrényeinek raktára. 1890-ben Várnai Lipót és neje, Gelberger Janka tulajdona.
