Hotel Munkácsy. Built in 2014. West wing of its the Sörház (Beer house). Based on information board close to its: in the 1840s (other source 1850) built a guest house with a brewery owned by Izsak Berger - 4 Kórház Street, Békéscsaba, Békés County, Hungary.

Munkácsy Hotel 2014-ben épült. Része az egykori Sörház. A közelében, a Széchenyi ligetben van a Lischka Lipót Tanösvény 'Régi és Új...' c. tájékoztató, részletek: '1846-ban zárták be az evangélikus ó temetőt. 1850-ben Berger Izsák regálebérlő sörházat/sörfőzdés vendégfogadót és a hozzá tatozó szeszgyárat, 1861-ben: pincét gőzfürdővel hozott létre a Széchenyi liget keleti határa ill. a Kórház út mellett. Ekkoriban ez volt a város egyetlen mulatóhelye A helyiek Sörház-nak nevezték a helyet. 1888-ban az árviz elmosta a ligatben állt korábbi faépületet a helyére/helyette 1896-ban épült a Pavilonépület a filagóriával.' A volt sörház, klasszicista stilusban épült az 1840-es években, a 10 tengelyes, magasföldszintesépület középső két tengelyében timpanonos záródású, emeletes középrizalit. Pincéje szegmensív-záródású, hevederek között poroszsüveg boltozattal készült. - Táblájának felirata: Sörház/Műemlék/Épült 1840 körül/Késő klasszicista//Városi T.
