English: "Kebapçı" in Ankara. In Turkey, "kebapçıs" are common and mostly not very expensive but are generally full-fledged restaurants. They do not serve fast food as the "kebab houses" elsewhere in Europe. They almost always offer free accompaniments, as seen in this picture, when you eat a "kebap" or "pide". In this specific restaurant, dessert (Turkish "künefe") is also on the house, during Ramadan. |
