Former ~'hotel rental house' or „boardinghouse”. One of the four Count József Mailáth houses. The building complex built at same time 1928 and 1929 in this street, all of its were architect Károly Rainer works. Stonemason was Lajos Berey. Tapepetries made by Han and Preyes Co. The #9 is a six storey, historicist building with loggias in middle of the facade. There is a pub at the corner,-formerly Rózsadomb Restaurant and Café, in the 1930s Zsigmond Restaurant,-its entrance would be highlighted on both sides by a balustrade parapet adorned with putto sculptures, in 2021 partially covered. At the side facades there are also stone vases/urns decorated balustrade parapets above the entrances with columns. The complex replaced one of the Zipernowsky Villa and its garden In 1953 groundfloor part remodelled and the courtyard extended (Kereskedelmi Tervező Iroda ~Commercial Planning Office, architect József Cselényi) a sink room and a serving room, a cold kitchen and a vegetable preparation room have been created. Count József Mailáth (1858–1940) jurist /studied in Vienna and Budapest/, sociologist, organist, composer, member of the Upper House and member of the Board of Directors of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences, member of parliament's economic and transport committee, member of the National Central Committee of Tisza. The residents of the hotel rental house were served by staff for a monthly fee. The café and restaurant on the ground floor provided the tenants with care at all times of the day. The restaurant and café were connected by a food elevator to the serving rooms of the upstairs rooms, so that the tenants could eat in their apartments. The tenants were further comforted by the gentleman's and women's hairdressing shop on the line of shops, the spice and delicatessen shop, the tailoring and shoemaker's workshop and the tobacco shop. The head chef of the restaurant was József Lakatos, a restaurateur, and its owner was László Zsigmond. According to a 1933 issue of 'Theatre Life' magazine, the restaurant was "the favorite meeting place of the Buda audience with its finest French cuisine". In the afternoons, Jekim and Seprődy's salon orchestra entertained the guests, and in the evening a dance orchestra provided the atmosphere. Budapest 100 participiant. The Budapest 100 is a weekend city festival aimed at presenting budapest houses from basement to attic. Visitors can get to know the residents and their personal stories. The programs are organized with the help of volunteers and residents. Programs are house history or other exhibitions, guided or non-guided house walk through the building, there are concerts in garden or courtyard or corridor - 9 Keleti Károly Street = 2 Bimbó Street, Országút neighbourhood, 2nd district of Budapest.

Pepita folyosóburkolat. Az egykori szállodabérház,-az ún. Mailáth-házak (egykor hiv.:Gróf Mailáth féle bérházcsoport) egyike,-egy nagyobb épületkomplexum részeként épült fel 1928 és 1929 között, ugyanis vele egy időben négy ikerbérház is született Rainer Károly építész tervei alapján, Bekey Lajos építőmester kivitelezésében, székhelyi gróf Mailáth József megrendelésére a Keleti Károly utca és a Bimbó út között húzódó telkeken A bérházakban összesen 150 db 2-3-4 szoba-hallos lakás, a sarkon elhelyezett szállodabérházban pedig 80 db 1-2 szobás garzonlakás létesült. A szállodabérház híres lakója volt Feszty Masa (1895–1979) festőművész. Az épület a Budapest100 2021 résztvevője volt, épületbejárás, beszélgetés, háztörténeti kiállítás, a házban élő Kurucz Krisztián csellóművész és felesége Kurucz Eleonóra fuvolista duett koncert.
