Gergely Pongrátz Plaque of the 1956 Hungarian Revolution on the facade of the Corvin cinema. Participant of Budapest100 (2021) event Buit in 1922 The cinema, rebuilt in its original beauty in 1996, is the only multiplex in Budapest that operates in an independent building. The imposing Art Nouveau-Bauhaus-style great hall, which seats nearly 500 people, is one of Budapest most beautiful halls. The audience as a whole retained the atmosphere of a theatre hall.
