Árpád Age undercroft of the Ruin of monastery/Provostship's ruins in Dömös. In 2024 its named as 1000 years old church, ecumenical place of worship Managed by Free Ecumenical Community. - About the monastery: In a fenced area, free-standing, eastern, three-nave, two-towered, three-apse church. Its above-ground remains, supplemented by alternating heights. Under the main sanctuary, in the sub-temple, accessible from the apses of the side naves, the plinths, chapters, brick masonry pillars found during the excavations are placed secondarily. Stone masonry filling walls and reinforced concrete structure covering. From the excavated ruins of the rectangular royal palace built against the south wall of the church, a barrel-vaulted cellar can be seen. In 1063 Béla I of Hungary and in 1079 King Ladislaus I stayed here. In the 11th century, Dömös was the centre of royal estates, where there was a royal house (the location of which is unknown) and a church or chapel. The provostship was founded by Prince Álmos, and the church was consecrated in 1107. The constructions were carried out in Annex It was completed by Béla II of Hungary in 1138. The provostship's building was destroyed in 1321. In 1702, its walls were blown up. Dömösi prépostsági romok Árpád-kori altemploma. 2024-ben a Szabad Ökomenikus Közösség kezelésében állt. 1000 éves templom ökumenikus imahely néven ( 1000evestemplom.hu/) Körülkerített területen, szabadon álló, keletelt, háromhajós, két Ny-i tornyos, háromapszisos templom. A föld feletti maradványai, váltakozó magasságban kiegészítve. A főszentély alatt, a mellékhajók apszisaiból megközelíthető altemplomban, az ásatások során előkerült lábazatok, fejezetek, téglából falazott pilléreken, másodlagosan elhelyezve. Kőből falazott kitöltőfalak és vasbeton szerkezetű lefedés. A templom déli falához épült, téglalap alaprajzú királyi palota feltárt romjaiból egy dongaboltozatú pince látható. 1063-ban I. Béla, 1079-ben I. László király tartózkodott itt. Dömös a 11. században királyi birtokközpont volt, ahol királyi ház (ennek helye ismeretlen) és templom vagy kápolna is állt. A prépostságot Álmos herceg alapította, 1107-ben szentelték fel a templomot. Az építkezéseket II. Béla fejezte be 1138-ban. A prépostság épülete 1321-ben elpusztult. 1702-ben falait felrobbantották. A Dunára néző falnál kialakított kápolnát 1743-ig, az új templom felépüléséig használták, köveit is ennek építéséhez hordták el. Régészeti feltárása 1977-ben történt, helyreállítása 1989-ben.
