Svenska: Kungens skyddsängel visar ödets gudinna Lachesis symboler för skilda dyg- der, vilka skola nystas in i livstråden. Dessa symboler utgöras av tre böcker (religion, lagskip- ning och historia), Minervas kask och sköld (vishet och förstånd), Apollos lyra (de fria kons- terna), Merkurius stav (klokhet och erfarenhet), svärdet och vågskålarna (rätvisan) harnesk, fana och spjut (krigskonsten) och Herkules klubba (tapperhet, styrka och makt). Vidare åter- givas lager och pamkvistar (ära och triumf), olivkvistar (fred), vallmo (lugn och säkerhet) och ax (rikedom). Gudinnan Lachesis, som nystar upp konungens gyllene livstråd runt olika sym- boler, är framställd i helfigur, face höger, och iklädd vit urringad dräkt samt gul mantel. Konungens skyddsängel står bakom symbolerna och håller upp några av dessa. Hon är synlig i bröstbild face vänster och iklädd blå dräkt samt lila mantel. I bakgrunden till vänster en ref- flad kolonn och ett rundtempel, till höger ett klassiskt sommarlandskap.
