Description
English:
One storey multifunctional building with a facade plaque to poet Lőrinc Szabó. Built in 1937. Remodelled former house to the HQ of the Miskolc Industry Association. Architects: Lajos Stimm and Alfréd Block. It was in the 1950s HQ of the SZOT (abbrev.: National Council of Trade Unions). In the 1970s here was a house of culture. In the 2020s here is partly (in the west building/west wing) the Csodamalom Bábszínház (Miracle Mill Puppet Theatre) - 11 Kossuth Lajos Street, Downtown, Miskolc, Borsod-Abaúj-Zemplén County, Hungary.

Egyemeletes ház homlokzatán az 1956. október 23-i Kossuth utcai/ Szabó Lőrinc est emléktáblája Az Ipartestület egykori székháza részére, 1937-ben, a korábban itt állt épület(ek)et Stimm Lajos és Block Alfréd tervei alapján átépítették. Az 1940-es/1950-es? évektől 1960-as évek elejéig SZOT Borsod Megyei Tanácsának székháza. 1970-től a Kossuth Művelődési Ház. 2020-as években az udvarából nyílva működik a Csodamalom Bábszínház.
