Description
Svenska: KRÅSNÅL med etui Av guld med svart agat (onyx) samt insekt med orientalisk pärla, smaragd och två rubiner. Nål lång, rundstavig, med övre änden tvågrenad och omböjd i rät vinkel mot nålen; förgreningarna fästa vid en tunn skiva med insvängda kanter; på nålens mitt en i tio spiralvarv gående käl. På nålens övre ände en vid skivan på en nit fäst rund tjock agatskiva, rörlig på niten. På skivans framsida en på samma nit fäst insekt med tre benpar och ett vingpar av guld; bakkroppen av en stor barockpärla, mellankroppen med oval plattslipad smaragd med fasetterad kant, huvudet med ögon av två rundslipade rubiner. På nålen upptill riksstämpel. Vikt: 6,2 g. L 8,6 cm. Nål L 7,9 cm. Agatskiva D 1,9 cm. Antagligen utländskt arbete, kontrollstämplat i Sverige, 1860-talets början. Etui (original): Av trä, avlångt, med konturerade kanter, avsmalnande framåt och med högt kupigt fällock samt klätt med svart pressat skinn; kring kanterna på locket en rand i guldtryck och en i blindtryck; foder av ljusblå sammet och ljusblått siden (atlas). På främre änden tryckknäppe av mässing. H 3,2 L 11,8 B 4 cm. Gåva till Walther von Hallwyl julaftonen 1864 från hans fästmös föräldrar, Wilhelm Heinrich och Johanna Kempe. Inköpt av de sistnämnda hos juveleraren G. A. Cedergren, Stockholm.
