English:
World War I memorial by János Pásztor (1929 bronze statue). There are statues on three groups. In middle on the highest part of the base an ancient Hungarian valiant in a helmet supports the wounded soldier, a young woman kneeling beside him. On the lower part a seated man dressed as a horse shepherd holding a cape in his hands, on the other side sculpture, the statue of motherhood (seated)/statue of mother? with two children. There is a ground/flower bed based plaque before the monument: ~'The living comrades of the former Imperial and Royal 46th Infantry Regiment paid homage to the fallen heroes at a regimental meeting held on August 7, 1938 in the year of Saint Stephen. Your memory has brought us here and holds us together.' - Széchenyi Square, Makó, Csongrád-Csanád County, Hungary.

I. világháborús hősi emlékmű (Felállítás 1929., Pásztor János) [1]. Felső lábazaton sisakos ősmagyar vitéz támogatja a sebesült katonát, mellette térdeplő fiatal nő. - Az egyik mellékalak csikós öltözetű, kezében fokost tartó ülő férfi, kalap nélkül, - a másik az anyaság (ülő) szobra két gyermekkel, amelyet később a Kerepesi temetőben is felállítottak. Emléktábla a földön: A volt Cs.és Kir. 46-os gyalogezred élő bajtársai hódoltak az elesett hősök emlékének Szent István évében 1938 augusztus 7-én tartott ezredtalálkozón. Emléketek hozott ide és tart össze bennünket. - Csongrád-Csanád megye, Makó, Széchenyi tér (volt Lenin tér).
