Deutsch: Tafel "Reste des Krottenbaches im Wertheimsteinpark"

Der heutige Pachkanal wurde in den Jahren 1893 bis 1930 vom Donaukanal bis Salmannsdorf, auf eine Länge von 6170 Meter eingewölbt. Er entwässert (einschließlich des Arbesbaches) ein Niederschlagsgebiet von 1103 Hektar.

Seine Trasse verläuft heute 15 Meter tief, die rechnungsmäßige abzuführende Gesamtwassermenge beträgt 20 m³/sek. Das Quellgebiet des ehemaligen Wasserlaufes befindet sich am südlichen Abhang des Dreimarksteines. Der letzte Rest des Krottenbaches ist noch als kleiner Teich mit anschließendem Abflußgerinne vorhanden.
