English: Rough translation : "Five instantaneous photographs taken during the bombing of Turkish forts and summarizing the main phases of the attack ." Number 1, top left : A flotilla of minesweepers to allow warships to advance towards the Dardanelles . Towards the center of the photo a spray of water produced by the explosion of a mine can be distinguished . No. 2, top right : The destruction of forts Seddul Bahr , seen from a British battleship . No. 3 , center: The bombardment of the fortress of Kum Kale . We perceive , right, smoke rises from the fortifications. Battleship in the foreground is HMS Queen Elizabeth ; left there are two French ships. No 4 : Part of the squadron moves towards the coast to shoot the fortifications ; ships left are French .
