English: For use in the Fanning Secondary School in Lima, Dr. Jose Martinez Cros, a Spanish scientist and member of the UNESCO Technical Assistance Mission in Peru, has devised an ingenious method of making a wide range of laboratory teaching instruments at low cost from easily available materials. Shown here is a teacher explaining atomic structure to two students.
