Representatives from the Dutch Parliament visit the lorry factory DAF and a textile factory in Eindhoven. SHOTS: - Mr. T.J. Twijnstra gives a word of welcome on behalf of the Dutch employers; - DAF: the men tour the factory grounds and look at several car chassis' made in the factory; they walk through the factory halls and watch how the workers work with a lathe and in an assembly hall they assemble a lorry in a production line; - int. textile factory: another group of representatives walks through the spinning mill and watches how the thread and fabrics are produced; 00:49 J.A. Jonkman (three-piece costume); 00:51 J.J. Fens makes a test drive in a jeep; 01:26 M. Klompé; 01:29 M. Tjeenk Willink.
