Description
English: Lincoln Reservoir in what is now Cal Anderson Park, Capitol Hill, Seattle, Washington.

Postcard dated June 1907.

The reservoir was completed in 1901. A park was built adjacent a few years after this photo, and then renamed to Broadway Playfield in the 1920s to avoid confusion with West Seattle's Lincoln Park. The playfield was renamed Bobby Morris in 1980, and the park named Cal Anderson in 2003. In the 2000s, the city built a cap including water features over the reservoir .
