Description
Svenska: Ljuskronan i Kungssalen på Skokloster, där den hänger sedan 1672. Den är tillverkad av Melchior Jung (1615-1678) vid Melchior Jungs glasbruk (Jungs glashytta) i Stockholm. Man vet inte exakt när den tillverkades, men den kom till Skokloster 1672.
Ljuskronan har gjutna pärlor och hängen av glas. Modellen är av venetiansk barocktyp.
Före 1757 kallades Kungssalen för Wrangels matsal. Här finns både spis och kakelugn. Det färgrika gipstakets mittfält föreställer Daniels strid mot draken, omgiven av de fyra världsdelarna. (I Kungssalen är väggarna klädda med gyllenläder. Den stora träspisen sattes upp 1663 och den har skulpturer av Markus Hebel. Den praktfulla öppna spisen dominerar rummet. I den öppna spisens sidofält syns symboler för världsdelarna. Stucktaket utfördes av Hans Zauch 1663-1664. Kungssalen är vidare prydd med flera kungaporträtt, bland vilka det finns ett Ehrenstrahl-konterfej av Karl XI.)
