| Description |
English: Earl of Merioneth on its final journey from Blaenau to Porthmadog. It is seen running alongside Tanygrisiau Reservoir (aka Llyn Ystradau). On the far shore of the near arm of the lake is where the railway used to appear from the original tunnel. Almost looks like a canal. It looks as though the trackbed of that original route is visible under the water as is the old cart track from Dduallt. The view is from an extensive platform of rock and ponds just below the summit of Moelwyn Bach. |
