Description
Deutsch: "Neue Schanze" in Lochau, Vorarlberg Österreich. Ein Teil des Befestigungswerks, welches 1642 als drittes Sperrwerk im Rahmen des Dreißigjährigen Krieges gegen die vorrückenden schwedischen Truppen unter General Carl Gustaf Wrangel errichtet wurde. Das Geäude steht unter Denkmalschutz. Neben dem Gebäude fließt der Klausmühlebach, der Teil des Befestigungswerkes war.
English: "New Schanze" in Lochau, Vorarlberg Austria. Part of a fortification, which was built in 1642 as the third barrier in the context of the Thirty Years' War against the advancing Swedish troops under General Carl Gustaf Wrangel. The building is a listed building. The Klausmühlebach, which was part of the fortification, flows next to the building.
