Summary edit

Description This is where the water from Hetch Hetchy comes out of the pipe, falls through the vaccum break and flows out into Crystal Springs Resivior. Its a gigantic version of that cylindrical gizmo on a modern, North American, sink, where the dishwasher output goes through a similar break on its way to the drain. Of course, in this case, all the interesting bits are below ground level, the columns and so forth are just decoration. But its the end of the pipe and serves the same purpose
