English:
Pásztó Museum (Est. 1984) main building. Former Benedict, later Cistercian monastery. Current form built in 1715-1717 (1718?), it was part of the Pásztó Abbey (Est. 12th cent., disest. 1950s). After nationalized, the monastery used as depot of agricultural machines, industrial vocational school and library, Since 1997, the Pásztó museum has been fully owning the building. - 5 Múzeum Square, Pásztó, Nógrád County, Hungary.

Volt bencés majd ciszterci kolostor és romkert (alapítás: 12.sz., feloszlás 1950-es évek). A jelenlegi épületet középkori alapokon és középkori részek felhasználásával (a középkori kolostor K-i szárnya), a szerzetesek 1698-as visszatelepülése után. 1715-1717 (1718?) között építették. 1756.58 között kelet felé bővítették az épületet. A ciszterek által átvettépület egészen az 1950-es évekig kolostorként működött. A későbbiekben gépállomás, ipari iskola, óvoda és könyvár kapott benne helyett, míg végül 1997-től teljes egészében a múzeum birtokolja az épületet. A Pásztói Múzeum 1984. október 1-jén kezdte meg működését.A földszinten a 2010-es években a A ciszterci rend története ÉS a Ciszterciek Magyarországon c. a helyi ásatások leletanyagára alapozott kiállítások voltak láthatók. A Pásztói évszázadok c. kiállítás a város történetét mutatja be. A boltíves lépcsőházban és az emeleti folyosón 'Fűtől fáig' c. botanikai állandó fotótárlat. Az emeleten 'Az évmillók üzenete Nógrádban' földtörténeti és élővilág fejlődése kiáll., ÉS Rajeczky Benjamin Emlékkiállítás.
