English: An inbound route 121 bus on Lexington Avenue in East Boston in January 1954. The route originally ran from Maverick to the Eagle Street Carhouse, but was extended to Day Square station (now Wood Island, its modern terminus) when the station opened in 1952. The bus is a model 788 built by the White Motor Company in 1948. |
