Español: Entre 1939 y 1944 casi 3.000 personas fueron asesinadas por militares franquistas en las tapias del cementerio del Este. Hoy el delegado de Coordinación Territorial y Cooperación Público-Social, Nacho Murgui, ha asistido al XII Homenaje a las víctimas del franquismo en Madrid, organizado por la asociación de familiares y amigos de las víctimas del franquismo ‘Memoria y Libertad’, y ha recordado precisamente allí, que “en este lugar para la memoria, el Ayuntamiento va a realizar una intervención para recordar lo sucedido y a quienes lo sufrieron. Un memorial en recuerdo a las víctimas de la represión franquista de la posguerra, tristemente vinculadas a este cementerio”. |
