Zij draagt een japon met decolleté, hoge taille en sleep. Aan de hand een jongen in kinderkleding: pakje met harembroek en mouwloos vest(?). Op het hoofd een tulband. De prent is een kopie naar No. 239, 23 août 1800, van het Franse modetijdschrift Journal des Dames et des Modes, uitgegeven door Pierre de la Mésangère, Parijs, 1797-1839. Het jongetje is iets anders van houding en heeft een bloemenmandje vast.
