Marasmiellus Murrill Image location: Swans Crossing State Forest, New South Wales, Australia This very tiny fungi had attached itself to a gum leaf (eucalyptus)on the forest floor. On fairly close examination the stipe appears to have a furry surface, and remains about the same thickness throughout. From the gum leaf it can be seen that this specimen is only about 3-4mm across the cap and the stipe is about 10-12mm in length. The mantle is tending to be cupshape or concave. Recognized by sight
