English: LIBI_00019_00582; This item is a photographic print of White-Man-Runs-Him, scout at the Battle of Little Big Horn, in long bust view and dressed in full tribal costume. The image is 5 7/8 x 7 15/16" and was produced circa 1910 by D.L. Gee. On the verso, a handwritten notation in pencil reads, "7736 Sioux - Crow - Chief Mars-che-Coodo - "White Man Runs Him" - Son of Pretty Eagle - U.S. Gov Scout under Gen'l Custer June 25, 1876." Another handwritten notation reads, "Presented by John Wood/2114 Bank St./Baltimore, Md." A portion of the handwritten description provided by Elizabeth B.
