Original biplane with skis instead of wheels for landing, built in 1929 by Caleb J Marston and Perley W Ordway in Loudon, NH. Against the wall are the wings; wing construction design patented in 1930. Mounted on original building frame, donated by son of Ordway. Collection Aviation Museum of New Hampshire, donated and installed by son of Ordway in museum. Museum location is between former tracks of the Manchester-Lawrence branch of Boston & Maine railway line and a runway of Manchester Airport. The Museum is currently open Friday/Saturday from 10a - 4p and Sunday from 1-4p. Website: https://nhahs.org/ |
