- Butts. — At Avon, New Jersey, on Tuesday, July 26, 1598, Theophilus Butts, aged 66 years. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral at St. Paul's Church, Hudson Street, Hoboken, New Jersey, on Friday, July 29, at 4:30 p.m.
- Norton. — On Tuesday, July 26, 1898, Mary, daughter of Patrick and Sarah Norton, aged 7 months. Funeral on Thursday, July 28, at 2 p.m. from parents' residence, 101 Bright Street.
- Van Winkle. — On Wednesday, July. 27, 1898, at his late residence, 133 Emory Street, Abraham J. Van Winkle. Funeral private.
