editTo Secure Its Creditors. Standard Club Files Chattel Deed of Trust. The Standard Club yesterday filed a chattel deed of trust Is favor of Edwin R. Chappell, trustee for Max Lindauer and other creditors, for $2,100. The deed applies to all personal property in the clubhouse at No. 3629 Lindell boulevard. Samuel Van Realm, president of the club, said that the filing of the deed of tryst was voluntary on the part of the club, and that it was merely a business measure. "The money spent for improvements and embellishments for the clubhouse," he said, "has been in excess of the club's income from dues and other sources, and to secure our creditors we did what is usual In such cases."
