Description
English:
~(Saint) Donát Hill Memorial Place. The Medetz family built here in the 1850s (1860s?), on Donát Hill /Saint Donatus/ first a 'painting holder' it is a shrine with four niches with Saint Donatus paintings. Under WWII this shrine demolished. In the 1990s reconstructed. Later this small plateue remodelled to a Memorial Place. Now here are not only the shrine, but a memorial stone with turul ststue, Trianon memorial with double cross, a flagpole, kopjafa and a circa 3-4 meters high lighting cross - Mária Street, Baross Gábor-telep neighbourhood, District XXII of Budapest.

Donát-hegyi emlékhely Egy helyi szőlőműves család, a Medetz-család által,-viharkárttól csodás módon megmenekült ültetvényük emlékére,-az 1850-es 1860-as években épült képoszlop volt az emlékhely 'alapja'. A négy fülkés képoszlopot 1990-ben újjáépítették. Megj.: a hozzá tartozó képet csak ünnepélyes alkalmakkor teszik a helyére, máskor a templomban látható. Jelenleg van itt világító kereszt, kettős trianon kereszt, kopjafa, emlékkő turul szoborral és országzászló (kőlábazat nélkül) is. Source: geocaching.hu A szomszédos Bartók Béla út szintjétől átlagban 15-20 m-el magasabb Szent Donátuszra emlékező hegyen található a Donát-hegyi-barlang - Budapest, XXII. kerület, Baross Gábor-telep, Mária utca 8.
