Railing shadow and floor pattern on access balcony. One of the two building complex (Mester Street 37-39). This is the #39. Apartment building with groundfloor shops Buit to the Budapest owned tenement building. Designed by Lajos Fridrich chief engineer. Built in 1926. This plot was part of the local,- in 1891 closed,-cemetery. Participant of Budapest100 (2021) event - (37-)39 Mester Street, 9th district of Budapest

37 és 39 szám lakóház/ak/ együttes üzletekkel, közül ez a 39-es szám. Két szomszédos bérház, külön bejárattal külön 1-1, zárt udvarral. Egyszerre épültek. Tervező: a középítkezési ügyosztály Fridrich Lajos főmérnőke. Építés éve: 1925, 1926. Építtető: Budapest Székesfőváros. Az épület az 1891-ben bezárt temető helyén épült. Az alapozás során a sírok mellett, régi pincék alapfalait, betemetett meszes és pücegödröket találtak, ezért az alapozás mélyítése vált szükségessé. Nyolc pincesori üzlethelység, 21 egyszobás, 62 kétszobás és 24 háromszobás (cselédszobával) létesült. Eredetileg: tölgyfa parkettával, részben csempézetten, öntöttvas káddal, gázrezsóval szerelték fel. A homlokzat 'Sempernova' vakolatot kapott, a kapu kerete kalázi kőből készült, a tető elsőrendú eternitfedéses, a folyosókon lépcsőkön műkőlábazattal illetve részbeni csempefedéssel készült.
