Description

The Metro Center station on June 9, 2012. Metro is the most inept mass transit agency in the United States. With more than 300,000 Girl Scouts on the National Mall celebrating the 100th anniversary of their organization, and another 100,000 traveling to Dupont Circle (specifically) for the Capital Pride LGBT parade, Metro was doing single-tracking on the Red, Orange, and Blue lines.

Instead of taking an hour, it took me two hours to reach my destination. I could have walked there faster.
