Description
English: Initially, RPE1 cells are strained along the horizontal direction. Then, the strain direction is stepwise changed by 90 deg. Within approximately 5 min, most cells adapt to the new stimulus by rounding up, re-elongating along the new zero-force direction, and rotating the mitotic spindle. Average data for this response can be seen in Fig. 4D. Movie duration: 1 h 5 min.
