Description This Mitsubishi Zero was the first Japanese aircraft shot down over Australian territory in WWII. The display photograph shows the aircraft condition after its crash landing and demonstrates the amount of souveniring which took place in WWII. The Zero is on display in Darwin's Aviation Museum, the AAHC.
