English: This photo shows NASA's B-52 mothership landing on the Edwards AFB following the first free flight of X-38 #131R. The B-52 was a workhorse at the Dryden Flight Research Center for more than 40 years, and carried numerous research vehicles aloft and conducted a variety of other research flight experiments.
