 1巻1冊 潤甫著 永正16年(1519)成立 元禄4年(1691)刊 書名は序題による。五針眼袋綴 大きさ28.3×20.2cm 栗皮色唐草模様緞子表紙 本文料紙楮 着彩 印記「アカキ」「よこ山」「重」。 わが国最初の菊の図譜。100種類の菊の画と名称、漢詩の形をとった説明が付される。永正16年に臨済宗の僧永瑾(1447〜1537 建仁寺245世)の記した序文がある。序文中に著者と記される潤甫は、若狭の守護大名武田元信の次男で当時16歳、後に建仁寺282世となった人物。元禄4年の跋文と、「元禄四辛未正月吉日/洛下書林 八尾常成/江州彦根 八尾恭豊」の刊記が付される。摺り鮮明。丁寧な筆彩色が施されている。京都大学図書館近衛文庫、国立東京博物館、岩瀬文庫に所蔵が確認されるのみ。なかでも、近衛文庫本は掲載本より上質の料紙が用いられ、本のサイズも一回り大きく、かつ摺りもより鮮明な特製本。
