絵本。菱川師宣画。師宣描く見開きの諸国の名所絵に、和歌・発句を添えた解説文を頭書として加えたもの。当該本は扉題を持ち、跋を附した1冊本で巻数表示はないが、天和2年(1682)刊の山形屋版3巻本の中巻に相当する。中巻を独立させた後印本であろう。3巻本は、上巻、陸奥松島・安房野島﨑・陸奥宮城野・常陸国桜河・亀井戸安楽天神・武蔵国角田川・鴫立沢・相州江之島・相州金沢・六江橋体・渋谷金王桜、中巻、安芸宮島・祇園牛頭天王・都清水寺堂・京嵯峨・都西広沢池・山城国愛宕・京吉田・新黒谷・京卅三間堂・京八幡・鳥羽恋塚・布引滝、下巻、住吉岸松・天王寺・長谷寺・三輪大明神・大和吉野・興福寺・南都大仏・猿沢の池・手喰門・奈良二月堂・奈良春日町・南閻堂・盤若寺の36図を収める。他に元禄9年(1696)万屋清四郎版と無刊記3巻本がある。「吉田法印」の蔵書印あり。(岡雅彦)(2018.2)
