絵入り版本。大本、袋綴じ1冊。寛永頃に出版された丹緑彩色がほどこされた舞の本の「わたさかもり」を解体して台紙に貼り綴じなおしたもので、新たな朱色の表紙が付けられる。四周に焼け焦げが見えるので、火災にあった本を再生させる処置と思われる。内容は、幸若舞曲の「和田酒盛」で、宿河原の宴席での遊女虎をめぐる曽我十郎と和田吉盛の確執と、兄の危機を察知してその場に曽我五郎時致が駆け付けて和田一党を退散させる話。母の長者から吉盛に思い差しの盃を強要されながら十郎への思いを貫く虎の純愛や、酒宴の場をうかがう五郎と吉盛の息子で強力の朝比奈との草摺引きの力比べなど見所が多い。(小林健二)(2018.11)
