Summary
editDescriptionNakamichi RX-202 (closed) drawing.svg |
English: The 1982 Nakamichi RX-202 was the company's first model with unidirectional autoreverse - a turntable mechanism that physically flips the cassette while the tape transport remains fixed and unidirectional. The transport was not a genuine Nakamichi but a two-head Sankyo OEM job (this trend just started in 1982 and soon became common to all models other than the Dragon). The RX-202 was an exceptionally successful model and remained in company's catalogue until 1993. The more sophisticated RX-303 lasted for three seasons, 1984-1986; the three-head RX-505 from 1984 to 1993. |
