Nederlandse kampioenschappen veldloop; In Birkhoven(?) is, rond het openlucht Bosbad en de omgeving daarvan, een parcours uitgezet van vijf kilometer tbv de Nederlandse kampioenschappen veldloop. Een grote groep hardlopers gaat van start. Deelnemers zijn oa Jef Lataster, Kist, Wim de Ruiter en Slijkhuis. De race wordt gewonnen door Wim Sluikhuis.;
