English: Real name was Elizabeth Cochrane. She was a U.S. journalist whose around-the-world race against a theoretical record (set by Phileas Fogg in Jules Vernes book Around the World in Eighty Days) brought her fame (her time was 72 days, 6 hours, 11 minutes, and 14 seconds).
