Description GWR's 1L54 1236 Newport-London Paddington service stands at Newport on 1st January 2017. Power car 43135 leads the train. With the South Wales Main Line closed between Bridgend and Newport, GWR were operating HSTs Swansea-Bridgend and Newport-Paddington, with buses bridging the gap, and Arriva Trains Wales running through to Cardiff from Bridgend via the Vale of Glamorgan.
