English: Aspect of stoneworts algae from the genus Nitella (Characeae) submerged in a shallow pond. The exact species was not able to be identified, probably Nitella opaca or Nitella capillaris.
Deutsch: Blick von oben auf einen kleinen Ausschnitt eines Unterwasserrasens aus kleinwüchsigen Glanzleuchteralgen (Nitella sp.) in einem Wiesenweiher. Die genaue Art konnte trotz Hinzuziehung von Experten nicht eindeutig geklärt werden; in Frage kommen wohl Nitella opaca oder Nitella capillaris. In beiden Fällen würde es sich um sehr seltene Arten handeln. Zur besseren Orientierung wegen der Größenverhältnisse: Der Bildausschnitt umfasst schätzungsweise 60×40 cm Bodenfläche. Der Bestand tauchte im Jahr 2009 völlig überraschend in dem gut bekannten Gewässer auf, entwickelte massenhaft Oosporen und verschwand danach scheinbar wieder komplett. Sehr mysteriös, diese Armleuchteralgen! |
