Norsk bokmål: Ved hjemkomsten fra Nordpolekspedisjonen, var Karl Johans gate pyntet med flagg, girlandere og flaggstenger med polarfarernes navn i sølv på blå bunn.
English: At the homecoming from the Arctic expedition, Karl Johan's gate (the main street of Oslo), was decorated with flags, garlands and flagpoles with the names of the arctic explorers in silver on a blue background.
Deutsch: Bei der Heimkehr von der Nordpolexpedition, war die Karl Johan Strasse mit Fahnen, Girlanden und Fahnenstangen mit den Namen der Polfahren in Silber auf blauem Grund, geschmückt.
Español: Al retorno de la expedición al Polo Norte, la calle de Karl Johan se había decorado con banderas, guirnaldas y mastiles con los nombres de los expedicionarios polares escrito en plata a fondo azúl.

This is according to § 23 in the Norwegian Åndsverkloven.

Under the former photo law, protection ended 25 years after creation, provided that more than 15 years had passed since the photographer's death or the photographer is unknown. The image is in the public domain if the protection ended before 29 June 1995 under the older term.[1]
