Description
Norsk bokmål: Hjemkomsten til Kristiania etter Nordpolekspedisjonen. Polfarerne hentes i barkassen inn til Honnørbryggen i Pipervika. Tette menneskemengder strekker seg fra Akershus festning helt ned til vannet. Kaiområdet er pyntet med flagg, vimpler, girlandre og små grantrær.
English: The homecoming in Kristiania after the Arctic expedition. The arctic explorers are transported in a barge to the Honnørbrygge («Pier of Honor») in Pipervika. Dense crowds of people stretch from Akershus Fortress all the way down to the water. The quay area is decorated with flags, pennants, garlands and small spruce trees.
Deutsch: Die Heimkehr nach Christiania nach der Nordpolexpedition. Die Polfahrer werden in der Barkasse zur Ehrenbrücke in Pipervika geholt. Dichte Menschenmengen erstrecken sich von der Akershus Festung hinunter bis ans Wasser. Das Kaigebiet ist mit Fahnen, Wimpeln, Girlanden und kleinen Tannenbäumen geschmückt.
Español: El retorno a Kristiania después de la expedición al Polo Norte. Los expedicionarios son llevados en lancha a Honnørbryggen en Pipervika. La multitud se extiende desde el fuerte Akershus hasta el muelle decorado con flores, banderines, guirnaldas y pequeños abetos.
Nederlands: De thuiskomst in Christiania na de expeditie naar de Noordelijke Ijszee. De poolonderzoekers worden in een sloep naar de Honnørbrugge (³Eerbrug²) van Pipervika gebracht. Dichte mensenmassa's staan langs de hele weg van de vesting Akershus tot aan het water. Het kade is versierd met vlaggen, wimpels, kransen en klein sparrehout.
