English:
Obelisk (Erected 1810, ordered by Prince Philip Batthyány de németújvár). Its top is decorated with a pelican statue, the coat of arms animal of the Batthyánys. The bronze relief with Charites/Greces from memorial base and stone steps are missing (destroyed). Bronze plaque (replica) on base.The castle park was transformed into a landscape gardenin the late Baroque period between 1795 and 1810, so the character developed by the middle of the 19th century dates from this period. IN the park created three gardens: the Sun, Moon and Peace Garden. The area of the obelisk is the Sun Garden. - ~Mansion Park Nature Protected Area of Körmend, Vas County, Hungary.

Obeliszk (Felállítás 1810, megrendelő: Batthyány Fülöp herceg) Tetejét a Batthyányak címerállata, a pelikán díszíti. Alsó hasábjának előlapján egykor bronz dombormű volt, a három Grácia alakjával. Ahozzávezető lépcsőkkel együtt elveszett időközben.
