Omphalotus nidiformis (Berk.) O.K. Mill. Image location: Kattang Nature Reserve, Dunbogan, New South Wales, Australia I found a group of these fungi in a shaded area surrounded by native foliage that is commonly known as Banksia. The other nearby trees were Casuarinas, (Allocasuarina). The Fungi were all at different stages of maturity. I think the species is Omphalotus, as I had photographed it on my property at Kundubung, NSW. Recognized by sight
