Celebrities At The Madisons' Reception. The Madison Club held their regular weekly meeting on Monday evening in the rooms of the Robert Davis Association. All of the committees reported progress. The committee in charge of the annual reception reported an enormous demand for tickets. The reception will be given at Elks' Hall on the evening of January 29 and bids fair to be one of the banner events of the winter The Madison Club, both through its athletic prominence and its invaluable work for the Democratic candidates in the recent campaign is known to every one in Hudson County and from present indications all the celebrities will gather at Elks' Hall on Wednesday evening January 29. Music by Beggs' full orchestra and a lively time is promised all who attend. The Madison relay team consisting of Owen Langan, T. J. Norton, Walter Nugent and Chester Williams have started active training for the championships to be held at Madison Square Garden early in February. The team is one of the fastest in the metropolitan district and no doubt will take several prizes during the winter.
