Description

The 0934 Rugby charter from Paddington nears its final destination at Cardiff Central, passing Pengam sidings on the right. The train called at Reading and Swindon, and then ran non-stop to Cardiff.

The bridge from which I took the photo - which forms part of Rover Way, provides a good vantage point of the South Wales Main Line, though the sun - which was shining almost perpendicular to the railway line was casting a shadow over the front of trains. I did though remember to take a foot stool, as the bridge's parapets are very high!
