Description

Aangelegd in 1992 op de oude gronden van de Citroënfabrieken, nadat deze in de jaren 70 in onbruik waren geraakt. De hoofdingang bevindt zich aan de rue Balard.

De tuinen putten zowel uit de Franse traditie, met zijn sombere kleuren, zijn rechte hoeken, de symmetrie, als uit de Engelse en Japanse traditie. De voornaamste landschapsarchitecten van het park zijn Gilles Clément en Alain Provost; de voornaamste architecten Patrick Berger en Jean-Paul Viguier.

The park occupies the site where the Citroën factory stood from 1915-1970. When the factory was moved to outside of Paris 23 hectares of land became available on the left bank of the Seine River. Fourteen of these hectares (35 acres) were used to create the Parc André Citroën.
