Description
English: The view through the rather grubby front window of Tyne and Wear Metro train 4089 as it waits at Pelaw station. The large mirror is the common method employed at surface stations to enable the drivers to see the length of their train. The diverging route at this signal is into the sidings used to reverse trains terminating here, the running routes to both South Shields and Sunderland are both straight ahead, diverging further down the line.
